I celebrate Mayor Karen Bass's remarkable achievement in securing funding for hundreds of new affordable housing units in Los Angeles.

Affordable housing is an essential part of the broader system that addresses the housing crisis in Los Angeles. Affordable housing serves as a vital resource for formerly homeless clients ready to gain independence and become active, contributing members of the community.

Increased availability of affordable housing options, such as those that will become available thanks to the Mayor’s actions, will provide our service providers with more pathways to empower clients and help them build a life for themselves.
