Weingart Center’s newest plans for permanent supportive housing

The Weingart Shelby

The Weingart Center recently acquired The Weingart Shelby, a new housing site that will offer 76 units.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Project Homekey and the Los Angeles Housing Department for their generous funding and support for the development of this pivotal project. The Weingart Center eagerly anticipates utilizing these funds to enhance each unit and provide essential amenities, enriching the lives of those we serve.

Our programs at the Weingart Center are designed to assist individuals facing disabilities, chronic illnesses, a history of chronic homelessness, or other significant housing barriers.

Through investments in housing initiatives like these, we are actively contributing to the creation of a more equitable, sheltered, and secure Los Angeles.
